You can find links to a representative sampling of my work — 150 articles across 150+ industries, dating back to 1998 — here.

All told, I’ve researched and written approximately 2,800 articles detailing technology’s impact on business during the past 20+ years.

Besides non-bylined articles, I’m also happy to provide companies and organizations with case studies, white papers, client testimonials, e-newsletters, blogs, speeches, feature stories, Web site copy, press releases and similar written content.

I’d also be glad to design, implement, manage and maintain an online press center.

I also have basic WordPress design skills and regularly use Yoast — an SEO-optimization tool — to optimize Web properties for high rankings on Google Search and similar search engines.

You can check out my Web design skills – a sample blog I designed and populated with my own written content – here.

I’m also well acquainted with social media, and am community manager for two online social networking communities, the 1,000+ member Long Island Musicians Network on Meetup.com and the 4,500+ member The Scene: Live Music on Long Island+ on Facebook . I manage both communities under my musical stage name, “Joe McKenna.”

Most importantly: I’m easy to work with and always deliver on deadline.

In terms of education, I graduated a few lifetimes ago from State University of New York at Potsdam with a dual major in English and Philosophy and a 3.3 GPA.

After graduation, I scored a job as a daily news reporter on the Cape Coral Breeze in Florida, where I learned to write against the clock for a year-and-a-half.

I subsequently spent another year-and-a-half as a business reporter at Long Island Business News in New York.

During my stint at Long Island Business News, I also began doing freelance work for The New York Times. After accumulating a fair amount of clips from the Times, I decided to become a freelance journalist.

I’ve been a full-time freelance journalist ever since.

As for grins-grins and giggles: I play neighborhood bars and restaurants on weekends as a solo singer/guitarist under the stage name, “Joe McKenna.”
